


Q. What is the Stitch Café?
A. Stitch Café is an open sewing session for experienced seamstress'. Bring projects you wish to
work on. Mending, need help with ideas, techniques, custom sewing advice, or maybe you don't have
room at home to spread out your sewing projects. These sessions are a great complement to regular
sewing lessons.
Q. What is available at the Stitch Café?
A. You will have access to a cutting table, iron board and iron, sewing machine and The Top Stitch will
have items available for purchase in the store so that you can complete your project.
Q. Do I need to know how to sew to participate in the Stitch Café?
A. Yes, at the Stitch Café you will enjoy finishing up projects, starting new ones or just looking for
some technical advice like putting in a zipper or creative input, then Stitch Café is for you!
Q. What should I bring with me?
A. You should bring your project, (pattern, fabric, thread, extra needles, sewing supplies) and be ready
to have fun!
Q. How much does it cost for the Stitch Café sessions?
A. Each session costs $10 at the door. If you are using a Stitch Café sewing machine, you will need
to purchase a bobbin (50 cents).
Q. What is a stitch card?
A. Purchase 5 Stitch Café sessions and get the 6th one FREE! Stitch cards are available at The Top
Stitch.
Q. How long are the sessions?
A. Each session is 4 hours.
Q. Do I have to be there for 4 hours?
A. Come and go as you please during each session you pay for.

A. The Stitch Café has 6 spaces available for sewing, no reservations necessary, just show up and
start stitching!
